Roland Emmerich Directs New Film About Stonewall Riots

The Director of "Stargate" and "Independence is releasing a new film about the Stonewall riots called Stonewall.

From the youtube clip:

STONEWALL is a drama about a fictional young man caught up during the 1969 Stonewall Riots. Danny Winters (Jeremy Irvine) is forced to leave behind friends and loved ones when he is kicked out of his parent’s home and flees to New York. Alone in Greenwich Village, homeless and destitute, he befriends a group of street kids who soon introduce him to the local watering hole The Stonewall Inn; however, this shady, mafia-run club is far from a safe-haven. As Danny and his friends experience discrimination, endure atrocities and are repeatedly harassed by the police, we see a rage begin to build. This emotion runs through Danny and the entire community of young gays, lesbians and drag queens who populate the Stonewall Inn and erupts in a storm of anger. With the toss of a single brick, a riot ensues and a crusade for equality is born.

The Daily Shows Nails The Hypocrisy Of "LGBT Persecution Of Christians"

We're sure going to miss Jon Stewart on The Daily Show! Hopefully the program will continue to produce amazing segments like this one!

Is it just me, or does the Reverend in this video set off your Gaydar to "super-repressed" too?

Via TowleRoad:

In a segment that would have made Samantha Bee proudDaily Show corespondent Jordan Klepper traveled to Eureka Springs, Arkansas to witness the debaucherous aftermath of the town’s vote in May to approve an LGBT-inclusive nondiscrimination ordinance.
In the eyes of local pastor Randall Christy, his town has become a lot more gay and a lot less Christian friendly…he just doesn’t know how exactly.

Breaking!: EEOC Rules That Discrimination Based On Sexual Orientation Already Illegal!

FABULOUS!! The EEOC has realized that announcing your gay marriage and then getting fired for being gay is kinda stupid. Let's see what the haters have to say.

Via BuzzFeed:

The independent commission addressed the question of whether the ban on sex discrimination in Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 bars anti-LGB discrimination in a complaint brought by a Florida-based air traffic control specialist against Transportation Sec. Anthony Foxx.
The ruling — issued without objection from any members of the five-person commission — applies to federal employees’ claims directly, but it also applies to the entire EEOC, which includes its offices across the nation that take and investigate claims of discrimination in private employment. And, while only the Supreme Court could issue a definitive ruling on the interpretation, EEOC decisions are given significant deference by federal courts.

Tylenol's Support Of Gay Families Is Giving 1 Million Moms A Headache

From Tylenol's #HowWeFamily campaign

The One Million Moms group hate all things gay. They especially hate when Corporate America expresses the support for the LBGTQ community in words and deeds. Here is their latest email/money beg about Tylenol's #HowWeFamily campaign.

Via OMM email:

Gay and lesbian couples are featured prominently in Tylenol's new #HowWeFamily campaign, which aims to change the face of the American family.

A same sex prom couple and two gay dads with a baby are among those featured in the campaign's first TV ad. A voiceover declares, "Family isn't defined by who you love, but how."

Tylenol is glorifying all modern family types by stating a family is based on love not traditional marriage, and then showing gay couples with their children. One Million Moms believes family is based on love, but this does not justify normalizing sin. 1MM does not agree with the need for Tylenol to support same sex marriages or couples.

Plus, Tylenol recently used a lesbian couple shown nose to nose in a printed magazine ad. It was included in Good Housekeeping June 2015issue on page 21, to name one example. At the bottom of the ad it states that Tylenol is a national corporate partner with the Human Rights Campaign.

Here is a video from the Tylenol campaign:

Southern Baptist Convention Declares Premptive "Spiritual Warfare" On Gay Marriage Ruling

Gay Obsessed Southern Baptist Convention President Rev. Ronnie Floyd
Seriously, they are more obsessed with Gay Marriage than most gays! And, has anyone explained that this is about CIVIL Marriage rights? Worship however you please. Just stop trying to deny us our CIVIL rights.
Via Raw Story:
“WHEREAS, the redefinition of marriage to include same-sex couples will continue to weaken the institution of the natural family unit and erode the religious liberty and rights of conscience of all who remain faithful to the idea of marriage as the conjugal union of husband and wife,” the resolution said.
“Southern Baptists recognize that no governing institution has the authority to countermand God’s definition of marriage,” the statement continued. “No matter how the Supreme Court rules, the Southern Baptist Convention reaffirms its unwavering commitment to its doctrinal and public beliefs concerning marriage.”
In his presidential address to the 5,000 attendees on Tuesday, SBC leader Rev. Ronnie Floyd said that it was time for Christians to declare “spiritual warfare.”

South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg Comes Out As Gay

Photo via Facebook

He came out as so he could encourage young and elderly people who are struggling with their sexuality to feel better about themselves. Good for him and the people of South Bend, Indiana.

South Bend, Indiana has a population of just over 100,000 people. It's a conservative town, settled by Polish Catholics. Its largest employer is the University of Notre Dame. And it has a gay mayor.

Democratic Mayor Pete Buttigieg is 32 years old. He is a Rhodes Scholar and a Harvard grad, and he served in Afghanistan, where he was a Lieutenant in the Navy.

"I was well into adulthood before I was prepared to acknowledge the simple fact that I am gay," Buttigieg wrote in a lengthy op-ed published in today's local paper. "It took years of struggle and growth for me to recognize that it’s just a fact of life, like having brown hair, and part of who I am."

"Putting something this personal on the pages of a newspaper does not come easy," he acknowledges. "We Midwesterners are instinctively private to begin with, and I’m not used to viewing this as anyone else’s business."

Scott Walker Still Backs Constitutional Amendment To Block Gay Marriage

Scott Walker wants to party like it's 2004! Apparently, the last 11 years of marriage equality progress have not taken place in his little world. To his credit, he is trying to appeal to Republican primary voters. So, as far as gay marriage goes, he should try to party like it's 1959.

Via CBS:

Potential Republican presidential candidate and Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker says that he would support a constitutional amendment allowing states to enact same-sex marriage bans.
"I personally believe that marriage is between one man and one woman," Walker said Sunday on ABC News, answering a question about an upcoming Supreme Court decision on same-sex marriage. "If the court decides that, the only next approach is for those who are supporters of marriage being defined as between one man and one woman is ultimately to consider pursuing a constitutional amendment."

Sister Of Alleged Dennis Hastert Victim Speaks Out

Jolene Reinboldt told the news outlet that her late brother, Steve, came to her in 1979 — eight years after he had left high school — to reveal that he was gay. When she asked him who he had his first sexual experience with, she said Steve responded, "It was with Dennis Hastert."

“[Steve] just told me the basics. I believed him 100 percent," she told ABC News. "But he never went into any details — where it happened, or what the sexual experiences were like, anything like that."
Jolene Reinboldt said her brother told her Hastert, who was a high school teacher and coach in Yorkville, Illinois before being elected to Congress, abused him throughout his four years of high school. Steve Reinboldt was the student manager for the wrestling team, which Hastert coached, and he was also a member of the Explorers troop Hastert ran, she said.

The Exploitation Of Dead And Wounded Military Members To Belittle Caitlyn Jenner's Bravery

By now, you have probably seen the many photo memes mocking the "bravery" of Caitlyn Jenner for telling her story by comparing her to the bravery of our military members. Here are just a few:

This one

And this one

OK. the first issue:
Why do we need to belittle anyone's bravery by comparing it to someone else's? The answer is bigotry towards transgendered people, plain and simple. The only reason to disparage the true courage it takes for any transgendered person to live openly and honestly is transphobia.

Here's the second issue:
The top photo meme is a lie. Noah Galloway is a truly brave man. We should honor is service and his loss. However, he was never a "runner up" for this award

Directly from ESPN:

In a statement to MTV News on Wednesday (June 3), an ESPN spokesperson confirmed there is “no such thing as a runner up for the three major awards,” referring to the Arthur Ashe Courage award, the Pat Tillman Award for Service and the Jimmy V Perseverance Award.

Also, The Terry Coffey facebook post has been updated by Terry himself which has some humbling irony that he rightly points out.

Here is the best meme I seen about this issue, by far!

Surprise! Mike Huckabee Says Something Stupid About Transgendered People

Mike Huckabee via Wikipedia
Via Buzzfeed:

“For those who do not think that we are under threat, simply recognize that the fact that we are now in city after city watching ordinances say that your seven-year-old daughter, if she goes into the restroom cannot be offended and you can’t be offended if she’s greeted there by a 42-year-old man who feels more like a woman than he does a man.”

What astounds me is the lack of empathy and the willful ignorance of what it means to be transgendered. The statement gets better.

“Now I wish that someone told me that when I was in high school that I could have felt like a woman when it came time to take showers in PE,” said Huckabee. “I’m pretty sure that I would have found my feminine side and said, ‘Coach, I think I’d rather shower with the girls today.’ You’re laughing because it sounds so ridiculous doesn’t it?”

Yes, Mike. That 42 year old that identifies as female who wants to use the restroom is the same thing as a horney teen creeping on girls in the shower. How insightful! No wonder he's voiced strong support for Josh Duggar.

Former House Speaker Concealed Payments To Cover Up Alleged Sexual Misconduct With Another Male

The alleged sexual misconduct occurred when former Republican House Speaker Dennis Hastert was a high school teacher and wrestling coach.

Via LA Times:

“It goes back a long way, back to then,” the source said. “It has nothing to do with public corruption or a corruption scandal. Or to his time in office.” Thursday’s indictment described the misconduct “against Individual A” as having “occurred years earlier."

Asked why Hastert was making the payments, the official said it was to conceal Hastert’s past relationship with the male. “It was sex,’’ the source said. The other official confirmed that the misconduct involved sexual abuse. Hastert has not responded to requests for comment.

Representatives of his lobbying firm declined to comment.

Hate Monger Bryan Fischer Radio Caller: Texas Floods Due To Witchcraft & Homosexuality

Hate Monger Bryan Fischer wearing a really gay shirt
Bryan Fischer is an ultra-extreme right winger who hates the gays with a passion. He is so extreme, he was fired from the certified hate group The Family Research Council.

As usual, the "blame the gays" idiots come out of the woodwork with every natural disaster. A delusional caller on his radio show tried to link the recent severe weather in Texas (yes, Texas) to Witchcraft and Homosexuality. What the caller doesn't realize is that the devastating storms and flooding hit Austin right when the GOP dominated legislature was attempting to pass anti-gay legislation in the states Capitol. If that's not a sign from God, I don't know what is!

The Happiest Gays Are In Iceland

I would be very happy in that pool as well!

It seems that Northern European gays are the happiest gays in the world.

Via The Advocate:

The Post reports Planet Romeo, an Amsterdam-based dating and community site and app, collaborated with Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz in Germany to carry out the online poll. Researchers combined rankings on public opinion, public behavior and life satisfaction — specifically, how gay men feel about society’s view on homosexuality, how gay men feel they are treated by other people, and how satisfied gay men are with their own lives, respectively — into one worldwide ranking, which they call The Gay Happiness Index.
Coming in at number one in all the world as the country where gay men are the happiest is Iceland, followed by Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Uruguay, Canada, Israel, the Netherlands, Switzerland, and Luxembourg (where the country's out prime minister earlier this month became the first national leader in a legal same-sex marriage).
The United States ranks 26th on the list. The map below shows the highest-ranked countries appearing in green, with the lowest-ranked countries in red.

Anti Gay Duggar Family Has A Huge Sex Abuse Problem

Update 1: Josh has resigned from the hate group FRC since the allegations have surfaced.

Josh Duggar, One of the countless Duggar children was accused of sexually assaulting young girls, including his sisters, when he was a minor. His father waited a year to report this to the authorities. Josh is currently employed by the anti gay, certified hate group Family Research Council.

Via The Daily News:

The Duggar family might have dug themselves into a shocking scandal.

Josh Duggar, 27, the eldest son in the famous reality TV family, was investigated for underage sexual abuse in 2005 after his father Jim Bob turned him in to Arkansas police, In Touch magazine reported this week.

According to the publication, the “19 Kids and Counting” patriarch went to police after he caught his son leaving a young girl’s bedroom and “learned something inappropriate happened,” a source said.

Josh, who was a minor at the time of the alleged incident, was investigated for sexual assault in the fourth degree, but the charges were not pursued because of a bizarre turn of events.

The state trooper who took the report was later convicted of child pornography and is serving a 56-year prison sentence.

By the time there was interest in reopening the case, the statute of limitations had passed and the investigation was dropped.

The Duggar Parents have issued a statement:

"Back 12 years ago our family went through one of the most difficult times of our lives, When Josh was a young teenager, he made some very bad mistakes, and we were shocked. We had tried to teach him right from wrong. That dark and difficult time caused us to seek God like never before. Even though we would never choose to go through something so terrible, each one of our family members drew closer to God. We pray that as people watch our lives they see that we are not a perfect family. We have challenges and struggles everyday. It is one of the reasons we treasure our faith so much because God's kindness and goodness and forgiveness are extended to us – even though we are so undeserving. We hope somehow the story of our journey – the good times and the difficult times – cause you to see the kindness of God and learn that He can bring you through anything."

Outed "Grindr Pastor" Told Gay Teen He Was Going To Hell

Earlier this week, Queerty outed anti gay Reverend Matthew Makela by showing his profile on the gay "hook up" app Grindr. Apparently, he is a top who likes to cuddle.

Now, we hear from a gay teen from Reverend Makela's Church.

Via CBS affiliate in Flint MI:

A mother came forward with new accusations against the local pastor who resigned after being outed as gay.

Jennifer Kish is angered over the recent revelation that Matthew Makela might be gay, not because of his alleged sexual preference, but because of how he treated her son while they were parishioners at his church. She said what that pastor told her son nearly drove him to suicide.

Makela is a Midland pastor who resigned after being outed by a website. The website said it outed Makela because of his outspoken stance in recent years against homosexuality, a stance one woman said was particularly harmful to her family.

Jennifer Kish said her then 17-year-old son Tyler suffered from serious depression and was considering suicide because he was told by Makela he was going to hell because he was gay.
"If he was going to go to hell for being gay then he might as well go to hell by committing suicide," Jennifer Kish said, regarding what Makela told her son.

Head of Boy Scouts Robert Gates Calls To End Ban On Gay Scout Leaders

Robert Gates via Wikipedia
Former Defense Secretary Robert Gates, who now heads the Boy Scouts has called for an end to the ban on Gay Leaders.

Via BuzzFeed:

The president of the Boy Scouts, former Defense Secretary Robert Gates, told the organization Thursday that its current blanket ban on gay leaders “cannot be sustained” and called on the group to revise the rule “sooner rather than later.”
Gates was at the helm of the Pentagon at the end of “don’t ask, don’t tell” and is now leading the Boy Scouts as it addresses its ban on gay members. In 2013, the scouts ended its ban on gay youth members but maintained its ban on gay adult leaders.
According to his prepared remarks, Gates said that “events during the past year have confronted us with urgent challenges I did not foresee and which we cannot ignore.” Gates also said some local councils already are “in open defiance of the policy” — specifically referencing the actions of the Greater New York Council, on which BuzzFeed News previously reported — and “the social, political and juridical changes taking place in our country” surrounding gay rights.

American Support For Gay Marriage At All Time High

Public opinion has been consistently increasing in favor of Marriage Equality over the past few decades.

Support for same-sex marriage has reached an all-time high, according to recent polls. A new survey from Gallup shows a record 60 percent of Americans now say they approve of legalized same-sex marriage.
The trend measured by Gallup closely matches results from other polls that have been measuring public opinion on same-sex marriage. An ABC/Washington Post poll conducted in April found that 61 percent of Americans approve. Similarly, a Quinnipiac University poll from the same month measured approval at 58 percent.
Approval of same-sex marriage has grown at a rapid rate in the last two decades. When Gallup first surveyed Americans on the issue in 1996, only 27 percent approved. Nineteen years later, that number has more than doubled, growing 5 points in the last month alone.

Ireland Marriage Equality Vote Set For May 23rd

Marriage Equality Supporters via Irish Times
Ireland could be the first country to approve Gay Marriage by popular vote on May 23rd.

Via The Daily Buzz:

For Ireland to get this far is nothing short of a phenomenal achievement. Homosexuality was only decriminalised in 1993; the Civil Partnership Act passed in 2010. The dedication of LGBT rights groups has changed hearts and minds. And now, Ireland is staging a referendum that enjoys support from all major political parties and the majority of the public, something unimaginable just a decade ago.
Recent polling shows those is favor of marriage equality leading. Here is a wonderful "yes vote" video.

U.S. Condemns Violent Anti Gay Statements Of Gambia's President

Gambia President Yahya Jammeh via wikipedia
Gambia President Yahya Jammeh is an extreme anti gay bigot. These are the words of a truly evil person. These words literally kill. I am glad that the U.S. is condemning this hate speech.

Via Washington Blade:

“If you do it [in Gambia] I will slit your throat,” Jammeh reportedly said. “If you are a man and want to marry another man in this country and we catch you, no one will ever set eyes on you again, and no white person can do anything about it.”

The remarks are the latest action from the Gambia leader enabling anti-gay violence in the country. In October, Jemmeh signed into a law making “aggravated homosexuality” punishable by life in prison. As defined under the law, “aggravated homosexuality” includes “serial offenders” of homosexuality as well as engaging in homosexual conduct with a minor or while having HIV.

Here is National Security Advisor Susan Rice's statement of condemnation:

Tomorrow, the international community will mark the International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia. This day and every day, the United States stands in solidarity with members of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) community and all those around the world who work to advance the unassailable principle that LGBT rights are human rights. The recent unconscionable comments by Gambian President Yahya Jammeh underscore why we must continue to seek a world in which no one lives in fear of violence or persecution because of who they are or whom they love. We condemn his comments, and note these threats come amid an alarming deterioration of the broader human rights situation in The Gambia. We are deeply concerned about credible reports of torture, suspicious disappearances – including of two American citizens – and arbitrary detention at the government’s hands. The United States in late 2014 acted on The Gambia’s crackdown against its LGBT community and wider human rights violations by ending trade preferences, and we are reviewing what additional actions are appropriate to respond to this worsening situation. We repeat our call for the Gambian government, and all governments, to lead inclusively, repudiate intolerance, and promote respect for the universal rights and fundamental freedoms of all people.

Anti Gay "Family Values" Married GOP Missouri Speaker Caught Sending "Suggestive" Texts To Intern

 screenshot from
Update: The speaker has resigned from his leadership position and his seat.

Here is another hypocrite to add to the very long list of politicians forcing their "religious beliefs" on everyone else while violating those beliefs in their own lives. He is the Missouri House Speaker. Yes, he filed an anti gay marriage amicus brief defending "traditional marriage." Gee, I wonder what else he could have done...or, not done, to defend traditional marriage?

Via Daily Kos:

Missouri House Speaker John Diehl is facing a lot of uncomfortable questions this morning after the Kansas City Star released screen shots of inappropriate texts:
The texts show occasional efforts by Diehl and the intern to meet in person. They range from mundane chatter, about boring meetings and dreading speeches, to the more sexually suggestive.
A sample of the exchanges:
At one point Diehl texts her “God I want you right now,” to which she replies “I wish you could have me right now.”
In another exchange, she sends a picture of herself in a bikini and Diehl responds: “Damn girl …”
Shortly after he writes: “I want to see more” followed by a smiling emoji.

Texas GOP Trying To Protect Providers Of Child Welfare Services Who Force Gay Conversion Therapy

Texas conservatives are in high gear when it comes to anti-gay legislation. This is all in the name of protecting "Religious Liberty."  In this episode, they are trying to protect child welfare service providers who subject children to harmful and discredited "gay conversion therapy."

Via Huffington Post:

Texas House lawmakers are expected to consider a measure as early as Wednesday that could be used to protect child welfare service providers who want to force kids into discredited gay conversion therapy programs. The bill also protects providers who deny minors access to birth control or abortions.
The bill, co-authored by nine Republicans, aims to protect child welfare service providers who get taxpayer dollars from losing government funding or benefits if they take actions motivated by religious beliefs. This covers providers who offer counseling, assistance to abused children, and foster and adoption services.

Texas Rep. Sites Dred Scott To Justify New Anti Gay Marriage Bill

Rep. Cecil Bell (Facebook)
It is amazing that Conservative Republicans are constantly on the wrong side of history. They stick their heads in the sand, refuse to acknowledge cultural shifts and then whine that they're not allowed to discriminate.

On Tuesday, the Republican-dominated Texas House of Representatives is scheduled to consider HB 4105, otherwise known as the Preservation of Sovereignty and Marriage Act. If enacted, the legislation would prohibit state or local government employees from recognizing, granting, or enforcing same-sex marriages. It would also prohibit state or local funds from being spent on “an activity that includes the licensing or support of a same-sex marriage.”

How does the bill's chief sponsor Republican Rep. Cecil Bell justify his actions? By citing the Dred Scott decision.

“If you simply say the Supreme Court should be upheld – period – you have to say that Lincoln was wrong,” he said, presumably referring to the Emancipation Proclamation issued six years after the Dred Scott ruling. “And I don’t think that Lincoln was wrong.”

Yes, Representative Bell. Lincoln was not wrong. The state of Texas was wrong by supporting slavery and joining the Confederacy. Texas was wrong then and Texas is wrong now.

New Poll: Americans More Comfortable With Gay President Than Evangelical President

Well, isn't this a hoot!! According to this poll, more people would be comfortable with a Gay President than an Evangelical one.  The times are truly changing for the better!

Via Raw Story:
In a segment that, were we actually on TV, we might totally be tempted to call “Suck It, Bible-Thumping Right Wingers,” we offer the fact that more Americans now say they would feel comfortable with a presidential candidate who is gay or lesbian than one who is evangelical Christian. That’s right: In a newly released poll sponsored by NBC News and the definitely-not-liberal Wall Street Journal, 61 percent of respondents said they would be “enthusiastic” or “comfortable” with an LGBT presidential candidate. Just 52 percent of respondents said the same about an evangelical runner.

More Examples Of Abstinence-Only Failure

Yes, I am offering anecdotal evidence. If you want to see the many studies supporting how bad Abstinence-Only education is, just use the google.

Via Addicting Info:

A Republican lawmaker who promoted legislation to teach “abstinence-only” sex education in schools announced that his own unmarried high school-aged daughter has gotten pregnant.
Bill Cassidy, a state Senator from Louisiana released a statement to announcing that he was to be a grandfather and expressing his support for his daughter during this “challenging” time:
Cassidy has made a name for himself as somewhat of a “abstinence-only” crusader. Last year, he co-sponsored the Abstinence-Only Reallocation Act, which would award grants and special funding to public and private schools which stuck to teaching only abstinence instead of a more comprehensive lesson plan on sexual behavior.
Now, he is a US Senator... Yea for us!!

Via Huffington Post:

An outbreak of chlamydia at a high school in Texas has forced administrators there to send a warning note home to parents.
District officials confirmed to CBS7 last Friday that the Crane Independent School District has seen 20 cases of the sexually transmitted disease in its high school, adding that letters have also been sent to the district's junior high school as a precaution.
The high school offers a three-day sexual education course once a year that emphasizes abstinence.

Two Gay Men Cheered On LA Dodgers' Kiss Cam

My, oh my! How times have changed!

Via Deadspin:

Back in 2000, two women were kicked out of Dodger Stadium for kissing. The team and the world have changed since then. Between innings of Saturday’s game, the stadium’s Kiss Cam team found two men, not as a joke, but a couple. (It’s at the 0:28 mark.)

It’s cool that this wasn’t the still-prevalent homophobic gag of forcing two platonic male friends to awkwardly recoil at the thought of kissing another dude. It’s also cool that the reaction from the crowd was a genuine cheer. Reader Steven, who was in the ballpark (but didn’t film this video), says he was “proud of the loud, enthusiastic response from the crowd. Not one person around me groaned or made derogatory remarks, and seemed genuinely pleased with the moment.”
The Dodgers have held LGBT nights in recent years, and while it’s great to publicly announce that everyone’s welcome, there’s nothing quite like being normalized by dorky in-stadium entertainment to make everyone feel included.

Congress Forcing "Religious Liberty" On Washington DC

Just like Gay Marriage, this is another example of Christian Fundamentalists forcing everyone to practice their religion. Here's a novel concept. If you are against birth control, don't use it.

Via Raw Story

Late Thursday night, the House of Representatives voted in favor of “H.J.Res. 43: Disapproving the action of the District of Columbia Council in approving the Reproductive Health Non-Discrimination Amendment Act of 2014.” If enacted, the legislation would make using employer-based health insurance for in vitro fertilization or birth control pills a fireable offense in Washington, D.C.
Planned Parenthood has been mobilizing its network against the bill. “Your boss shouldn’t be able to fire you for using birth control,” the organization states.
