This is my all time favorite performance of The National Anthem. The soaring harmonies make me tear up every time I watch this. Such a beautiful version from 3 true blue Americans.
But, Pat...I thought the Bible was infallible!! Maybe, in 150 years, Pat Robertson will admit the Bible is wrong about "the gays" too. Intentionally unflattering photo of Pat Robertson
I was kind of looking forward to seeing the banners in person, but I'm stuck inside! With the shift in public attitudes about the LGBT community, groups like the Florida Family Association are only exposing their extreme hatred to the rest of the world. Via Huffington Post: The Florida Family Association will reportedly make good on an earlier vow to protest Walt Disney World's annual "Gay Days" event by flying two planes carrying "warning" banners over the Orlando-based resort this weekend. It’s also cool that the reaction from the crowd was a genuine cheer. Reader Steven, who was in the ballpark (but didn’t film this video), says he was “proud of the loud, enthusiastic response from the crowd. Not one person around me groaned or made derogatory remarks, and seemed genuinely pleased with the moment.” The Dodgers have held LGBT nights in recent years, and while it’s great to publicly announce that everyone’s welcome, there’s nothing quite like being normalized by dorky in-stadium entertainment to make ev
